James and Erica Lowden fell in love with this part of Devon quite a few years ago, so much so that they then spent the next three years looking at various properties in and around Bampton before seeing Wonham Oak. They were both bowled over by the seclusion and delightful setting of Wonham Oak with its wonderful views and it offered everything they had been looking for - a small business plus the chance to pursue a more sustainable existence.

Now their young family are happily ensconced in the day-to-day running of their cottages and smallholding and thoroughly enjoy sharing this lovely part of the country with the many visitors that come to stay - they are always on hand to offer local knowledge but are equally happy to leave you completely alone to enjoy your holiday.
